This privacy policy applies to the website www.oscar.luxury (hereinafter the "Website"), which is operated by the private limited company Lendfers bv, trading under the trade name "OSCAR Luxury", registered with the Crossroads Bank for Enterprises under number 0880.438.316, with VAT number BE0880.438.316 and registered office at Dumortierlaan 115, 8300 Knokke-Heist, Belgium.

OSCAR Luxury acts as the controller within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (hereinafter "GDPR") and the Belgian Act of 30 July 2018 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data.
2. Which personal data we process
OSCAR Luxury processes personal data that you provide to us yourself, or that we obtain automatically when you visit our Website or make a purchase:
- Identification data: first name, surname, billing and delivery address
- Contact details: e-mail address, telephone number
- Order data: purchase history, product preferences, returns
- Payment data: bank account number or card reference (processed via our payment provider Mollie; OSCAR Luxury does not store full card details)
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, language preference, device type, browsing behaviour on the Website
- Communication data: content of e-mails, contact forms or customer service requests
- Marketing preferences: newsletter subscription, opt-in for commercial communications
3. Purposes and legal bases of the processing
OSCAR Luxury processes your personal data for the following purposes, in each case on the basis of a valid legal basis as provided for in Article 6 GDPR:

4. Recipients of your data
OSCAR Luxury never sells or rents your personal data to third parties. However, to the extent necessary for the fulfilment of the above purposes, your data may be shared with:
- Payment service provider: Mollie B.V. (Netherlands) for the processing of payments
- Carriers: DPD, Bpost and other logistics partners for delivery and returns
- E-commerce platform: Shopify Inc. (Canada/Ireland) as hosting and sales platform
- Marketing and analytics tools: Google (Ireland) Ltd. (Google Analytics, Google Ads), Meta (Facebook & Instagram pixel), Pinterest, based on your cookie preferences
- E-mail marketing: carried out via Shopify or a connected e-mail provider
- Accountant and legal adviser: to the extent necessary for legal obligations
- Public authorities and judicial bodies: where we are legally obliged to do so
We conclude a data processing agreement with all our processors in accordance with Article 28 GDPR.
5. Transfers outside the European Economic Area (EEA)
Some of our processors (such as Google and Meta) are established in or process data in the United States. In that case, OSCAR Luxury relies on appropriate safeguards such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, standard contractual clauses of the European Commission or other mechanisms provided for in Chapter V of the GDPR.
6. Retention periods
OSCAR Luxury does not retain your personal data for longer than is necessary for the purposes for which they were collected:
- Customer and order data: up to 10 years after the last transaction (Belgian accounting legislation)
- Invoicing data: 7 years (tax obligation)
- Marketing data: until you withdraw your consent or unsubscribe
- Log files and technical data: a maximum of 12 months
- Cookies: see section 9
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the following rights:
- Right of access (Art. 15): to be informed of the data processed about you
- Right to rectification (Art. 16): to have incorrect or incomplete data corrected
- Right to erasure (Art. 17): to be forgotten, subject to statutory retention periods
- Right to restriction (Art. 18): to have the processing temporarily suspended
- Right to data portability (Art. 20): to receive your data in a machine-readable format
- Right to object (Art. 21): to object to processing based on legitimate interest or for direct marketing
- Right to withdraw consent: for processing based on consent (Art. 7(3))
You can exercise these rights by sending an e-mail to info@oscar.luxury together with proof of your identity. We will respond to your request within 30 days.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (Drukpersstraat 35, 1000 Brussel, contact@apd-gba.be, www.gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit.be).
8. Security
OSCAR Luxury takes appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse. This includes, among other things, SSL encryption of the Website, access control, secure storage with recognised cloud providers, and periodic review of our security measures.

The Website uses cookies and similar technologies. On your first visit, we ask for your consent to non-essential cookies via a cookie banner. You can adjust your preferences at any time via the cookie settings at the bottom of the Website.
